I came from a broken home, and my husband did too.  Our parents had terrible marriages and tumultous divorces.   We had promised early on that if we ever had kids we wouldn't put them through that.  

But then as kids came and life started to get "real" and hectic the cracks started to show.  My husband just avoided me, completely!  I was so lonely and overwhelmed with having to do everything myself.

 
Resentment built and built in me until one day my husband was at his breaking point.  He said he wanted a divorce!

I knew I had to do something, and that is where this journey began.
